At Dynamix Recruitment we are proud to partner with a leading plastics manufacturer specialising in high-quality water storage and irrigation solutions. This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on Team Leader / Supervisor role within a fast-paced production environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be part of a busy close-knit team while taking on leadership and supervisory responsibilities. This is a hands-on role leading from the front in the manufacturing of plastic storage piping and irrigation products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion moulding machines
- Assist with injection moulding machine operations
- Perform pre-start line checks
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshoot machine and product issues
- Lead supervise and support production staff on day shift
- Ensure production targets quality standards and H&S requirements are met
- Train and mentor team members
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with management on production performance
Shift:
- Day Shift: Monday Friday 6:45am 3:00pm
About You
To succeed in this role youll bring strong experience in plastics extrusion or injection moulding along with proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills Required:
- Previous Team Leader / Supervisor experience
- Proven plastics moulding experience
- Strong quality assurance and problem-solving skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 25kg
- Confidence leading and motivating a team
- Willingness to grow and develop others
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
