Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Mission Viejo CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours/week (4x10)
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)

Position Overview

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Administer contrast media and assist with sedation as directed
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient records
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab required
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity environment

Licensure & Certifications

• Relevant certification as a Cath Lab Technologist required (e.g. RCIS ARRT or equivalent)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Schedule & Work Details

• 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating schedule based on department needs
