Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit hire train develop and evaluate employees to build a high-performing motivated workforce that meets service commitments

• Ensure compliance with all wage and hour laws and administer accurate bi-weekly payroll

• Maintain high employee appearance standards and promote a professional work environment

• Enforce safe working conditions and lead safety initiatives including recognition and reward programs

• Plan route and optimize collection services to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment

• Oversee container repair delivery and switch-out programs to support operational excellence and company image

• Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime control costs and improve service reliability

• Develop and manage cost control programs including oversight of purchasing practices

• Establish and monitor production standards across all operational areas

• Lead accident prevention efforts to reduce incidents claims and workplace injuries

• Ensure effective use of operational systems including Roll-Off Dispatch and Route Smart routing tools

• Oversee annual commercial and residential route audits and conduct semi-annual Roll-Off account profitability analyses

• Review monthly profit and loss statements and partner with the General Manager to achieve financial goals

• Ensure accurate billing of all services and timely revenue collection

• Promote a strong customer service culture across all teams

• Support sales efforts by ensuring proper use of systems to track and develop new business opportunities

• Identify growth opportunities within assigned markets including contracts and acquisitions

• Monitor and communicate market trends impacting service quality and profitability

• Represent the company positively through community and civic engagement

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations as well as company policies

• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Some travel as needed

Qualifications:

• Ten (10) or more years experience in the waste industry preferred or equivalent combination of education and industrial cleaning hydroblasting or emergency response

• Knowledge of confined space entry HAZWOPER and hazardous materials handling

• Valid drivers license

• Valid TWIC Card

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• DOT and safety compliance experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced safety-sensitive environment

• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
