Standard HoursMonday-Friday

The Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and the sanitary condition of all common areas on campus including resident rooms and bathrooms offices nursing stations and clinical areas on a daily basis. Additional responsibilitieswill include but will not be limited to:

• Clean sanitize/disinfect sweep and mop all areas of facility as assigned.
• Dust and clean all A/C vents on a daily basis; clean all windows and windowsills.
• Routine laundry for all residents at facility to include sorting washing loading and unloading.
• Report any necessary repairs replacementssafety issues which will require immediate notification to maintenancedepartment.
• Monitor and maintain all Housekeeping Supplies and chemicalsin direct line of sight of staff.
• Participate in Monthly Environment of Care inspections and ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards of care.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia was established in Cobb County Georgia in 1973 at the invitation of Governor Jimmy Carter and for more than 40 years has been providing new hopes new dreams and new choices for children adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral health challenges.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Will consider relevant work experience in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience in an institutional group settingpreferred. Experience working with children and adolescents preferredand/or inbehavioral healthcare setting preferred.

Other qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to complete atwo-week paid new hire orientation class;hours are approximately 9am to 5:30pm daily.
