About Us
TheDaifukuAutomation Testing and Quality (ATQ) team successfully tests and implements highly automated Material Handling Systems. These systems take advantage of DaifukuDaifukus industry leading technologies to meet and often exceed ourcustomersbusinessobjectives. Team members will work with systems including multiple types of material handling automation (ASRS Shuttle STV Robotics Conveyor AGV AMR etc.) Software (WCS WESSCADA OMS Etc.) Structures Storage Selections and various engineering disciplines. The ATQ team plans and executes testing andimplementationactivities to ensure high quality and to deliver outstanding results.
Job Summary
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer IIdevelopsmodifies and executes software test strategies plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.Analyzestest results to ensure existing functionality andrecommendscorrective action. Consults with Engineering in resolution
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.
- Develops and writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected.
- Prepares complex data sets to test logic errorhandlingand system workflows.
- Isolates reproduces and tracks defects.
- Verifiesfixes.
- Documents testing according to required procedures.
- Communicateswith team members about test status and issue resolution
- Solid knowledgein softwaredevelopmentlifecycleandquality assurance methodologies
- May lead and direct the work of projects and/or others.
- Responsible for planning and managing tasks across multiple projects with little direction
- Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
- Work isgenerally independentand collaborative in nature.
- Expectedtoparticipatein process improvement and quality assurancestandard.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in software engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of4years of professional experience delivering software applications
