Job Summary
Responsibilities:
1. Accounting for all G1098/Miscellaneous stores held by the company.
2. Checking serviceability of all items after training periods and ensuring repairs replacement and laundering of items as required.
3. Indenting for or local purchase of rations.
4. Taking part in recces/advance parties prior to take-over of training camps and facilities.
5. Replenishment during company training.
6. The recovery of clothing equipment and publications from discharged and non-effective personnel visiting them at home if necessary in conjunction with the PSAO and PSI.
7. Accounting for all training publications and aide-memoirs.
8. The Management of Health and Safety policy as detailed by the PSAO in line with the Unit Safety Advisors direction.
9. Ensure that the Company adhere to current Equipment Care guidelines as articulated in the UECD.
10. Ensure Company compliance with 8 Rifles G4 SOs.
11. The management and security of the sub unit Armoury in line with the XOs security plan and the QMs accounting procedures.
12. A good understanding of unit Motor Transport procedures and the management of vehicles and personal driving documents held at sub unit level.
13. The QPSI may be required to carry out any additional responsibilities as required by the QM.
