Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff visitors and/or campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings parking areas walkways residence-adjacent locations and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points observe campus activity and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or maintenance concerns to help support daily operations at the location.
• Assist with directions general information and crowd or traffic guidance during classes events and/or other campus activities while maintaining a visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
