The Duplicating Machine Operator is responsible for operating maintaining and producing documents using high-volume duplicating and copying equipment. This role ensures timely accurate and high-quality document reproduction in accordance with established procedures and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operate high-volume duplicating machines and copiers
Set up machines and adjust settings according to job requirements
Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
Receive prioritize and manage incoming print and copy requests
Ensure all jobs are completed accurately and within required timeframes
Inspect completed materials to confirm quality standards are met
Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
Monitor supply levels and restock paper toner and related materials
Handle confidential and sensitive materials in accordance with security protocols
Provide status updates and customer service to internal clients
Maintain production logs records and other required documentation
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a copy center or print production environment
Experience operating high-volume duplicating and copying equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication and customer service skills
Basic mechanical aptitude
Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the United States; ability to obtain/maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a print shop or government environment
Familiarity with print finishing equipment
Experience handling confidential or sensitive materials
