REPORTS TO: ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

CALENDAR: ATHLETIC CALENDAR

SALARY: COACH STIPEND SCHEDULE

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Valid IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

  2. NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification

  3. NFHS Concussion Course

  4. NFHS Bullying Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors Course

  5. CPR/First Aid Certification

Core Job Functions:

Basha High School is accepting applications for the position of head freshman and JV head addition we are looking for an assistant coach as are seeking a dedicated educator-coach who is passionate about student development leadership and program building. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing student-athletes academically athletically and socially while establishing a sustainable and positive girls volleyballprogram aligned with Basha High Schools mission and vision.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with leading and overseeing the Basha High School girls volleyball program.

  • Building a strong values-based volleyball program focused on character accountability and teamwork

  • Developing student-athletes through skill instruction mentorship and leadership opportunities

  • Establishing a positive inclusive and growth-oriented team culture across all levels

  • Supporting alignment between varsity junior varsity and feeder programs

  • Encouraging academic success and personal responsibility among student-athletes

  • Communicating effectively with student-athletes parents administration and staff

  • Coaches must be available to travel to and from games.

  • Maintaining a safe training environment and prioritizing student-athlete well-being

  • Upholding all school district and AIA policies and expectations
