Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition safety and functionality of apartment units and property grounds. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple trades and be able to troubleshoot repair and maintain a wide range of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartment units
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including troubleshooting heating and cooling issues
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems including leaks clogs and fixture replacements
• Perform electrical work such as replacing outlets switches light fixtures and basic wiring repairs
• Repair and install drywall including patching texturing and painting
• Maintain and inspect sprinkler/irrigation systems to ensure proper operation
• Monitor and maintain pool systems including handling and balancing pool chemicals safely
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and systems remain in good working order
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in apartment maintenance or a similar role
• Working knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical drywall and general maintenance
• Experience with pool maintenance and chemical handling preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems independently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift carry and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs or more)
• Ability to stand walk bend and climb for extended periods
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Schedule:

• Full-time; may require on-call or after-hours work for emergency maintenance

Work Location: In person
