What can you expect
As the Environmental Intern you will assist the Environmental department with delivery of project requirements within the office (no travel required).
How will you do it
- Assist in the preparation of technical evaluations of investigated sites using RCRA and CERCLA guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of environmental permits plans reports licenses and other requirements necessary to achieve environmental compliance and restoration project objectives.
- Review and provide documentation of environmental technical standards guidelines policies and formal regulations to ensure project documents and proposals meet all appropriate requirements.
- Prepare charts or graphs from data samples providing summary information on the environmental relevance of the data.
- Support processing spatial and environmental data through multiple desktop software programs
- Adhere to schedule and quality objectives to achieve project goals.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong experience in MS Office Suite
- General understanding of the environmental field.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Who is Brice Engineering looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college required
- Current studies in environmental sciences required
- Ability to pass a drug and background screenings is required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Office work will be in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance.
