Job Summary
We are working with a school who are recruiting for a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer for a thriving secondary academy in Sheffield. This is a full-time permanent position starting ASAP ideal for an individual committed to student wellbeing and academic engagement.
The Role
Student Welfare: Act as a key point of contact for students providing guidance on social emotional and behavioural issues.
Conflict Resolution: Lead restorative justice sessions and manage peer-to-peer relationships with humanity and professional excellence.
Intervention: Develop individual support plans to help vulnerable learners overcome barriers and reach their highest potential.
Liaison: Work closely with the SENCO teachers and external agencies to ensure a well-ordered and supportive environment for all.
