Job Summary
Senior Project Manager Public Safety IT Initiatives
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects supporting Public Safety systems (Police Fire 911 Corrections) for a major county government client.
- Manage project scope schedule budget and quality across multiple complex initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify project risks and develop/implement mitigation strategies to proactively resolve issues.
- Drive all project phases including planning execution testing and implementation across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure project alignment and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and deliver executive-level reports presentations and briefings for project status and outcomes.
- Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications to maintain transparency and progress alignment.
- Ensure projects adhere to PMI standards and best practices and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and cost reduction.
- Work in a hybrid environment (approximately 60% onsite at a secure Towson MD government facility 40% remote).
- Report to and collaborate with executive leadership to support mission-critical public safety initiatives that directly impact community safety and operational effectiveness.
