As a Security Officer Court Roomin Detroit MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government location where you will monitor entry points screen visitors and property and help support a professional environment through visible presence strong communication and attention to detail. You will conduct routine patrols document security-related activity and deliver customer service with integrity teamwork and a people-first approach that reflects our agile reliable and innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors employees and/or contractors entering the location by following access control procedures and checking authorized entry requirements.
• Monitor entry points and guide guests through screening equipment and/or manual inspection processes in a calm professional manner.
• Respond to incidents prohibited item discoveries and/or critical situations with sound judgment and clear communication.
• Document screening activity report unusual conditions and/or communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Must have at least 3 years experience as a Court Officer Military Police/Combat Arms/Elite Forces or Police or Adult Correctionsofficer
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
