Location: Austin TX (Onsite 5 days/week local or nearby candidates only)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Austin TX. This is a fully onsite role requiring strong expertise in Java-based enterprise applications and modern development frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and delivering high-quality software solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications using Java/J2EE technologies including EJB JMS JSP Servlets JDBC JSTL and JNDI
Build and enhance applications using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security JPA Hibernate)
Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architecture
Work with for backend integrations as needed
Lead the development of complex financial modules within the system
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
Ensure code quality performance and scalability of applications
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Java EE / J2EE architecture
Advanced proficiency in Java and Hibernate
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks
Experience developing Microservices and REST APIs
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
