Licenses/Certifications:

FDNY COF: G46 G79 or willingness to obtain.

Must Have Skills:

General maintenance skills

Basic HVAC skills

Nice to have skills:

Life Science/Lab experience preferred but not required

Soft Skills:

Good customer service skills

High level of professionalism

Years of Experience:

3-5 years

Education

h.s. diploma or GED trade school preferred

Basic computer skills

Maintenance Tech

Maintenance of safety equipment fire extinguishers eye wash stations emergency showers etc.

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical and other building systems.

Conduct routine maintenance inspections diagnose potential problems and make repairs.

Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear concise manner Impact team through defined duties methods and tasks as described in detail.

Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Back up for LIS where needed.

Any other duties as assigned.
