Role Overview
The Director of Labor & Delivery will provide strategic and operational leadership ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality and compassionate care for mothers newborns and families. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations staff development compliance and quality improvement initiatives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Labor & Delivery department operations
• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Mentor and develop nursing and clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Collaborate with physicians midwives and neonatal teams
• Manage staffing budgeting and departmental resources

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
• Masters degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field Required

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of Labor & Delivery clinical experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership/management experience

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Colorado RN License (or ability to obtain)
• BLS ACLS and NRP certifications required
• Additional maternal/neonatal certifications preferred
