Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Indianapolis IN
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients
- Monitor and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Assess patient respiratory status and respond to changes in condition
- Perform airway management and support critical care patients
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards
- Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of experience required
- At least 18 months of recent ICU experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Education Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CoARC accredited and regionally accredited through CHEA)
Licensure & Certifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC) required
- Active Indiana state license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) AHA required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA required
Schedule & Additional Details
- Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday plus two rotating weekdays)
- Floating required; travelers may float to other affiliated campuses
- Candidates residing in Indiana will be considered local
