Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Indianapolis IN
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Position Overview

A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients
• Monitor and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Assess patient respiratory status and respond to changes in condition
• Perform airway management and support critical care patients
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards
• Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of experience required
• At least 18 months of recent ICU experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CoARC accredited and regionally accredited through CHEA)

Licensure & Certifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC) required
• Active Indiana state license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) AHA required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA required

Schedule & Additional Details

• Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday plus two rotating weekdays)
• Floating required; travelers may float to other affiliated campuses
• Candidates residing in Indiana will be considered local
