Job Title: Machine Operator (Production / Manufacturing Associate)
Location: Katy TX 77494
Duration: 12 months - Potential conversion to full-time (not guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour on W2
Shift
- Monday to Friday 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
- Overtime is optional not mandatory
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare metal inserts by sandblasting taping and applying adhesive
- Trim finished rubber parts
- Operate extruders and other production machines
- Maintain equipment and ensure raw materials meet production requirements
- Follow quality standards to produce high-quality parts
- Train and support other team members as needed
- Perform additional duties within the scope of the role
Required Skills
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Safety-first mindset with strict adherence to HSE policies
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop-floor environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Exposure to rubber molding or machine operation
- Experience using hand tools (e.g. knives grinders)
- Familiarity with shop-floor processes
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Heavier items require team lifting or mechanical assistance
Safety Requirements
- Strong adherence to Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards
- Steel-toe shoes required
Training
