Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in Fort Worth TX.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable microservices-based applications and working with modern cloud and containerized environments.
This role requires hands-on expertise in backend development production support and collaboration within Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka
Work with MongoDB and other databases for efficient data management
Deploy and manage applications in Azure cloud environments
Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
Develop and maintain APIs using Apollo GraphQL
Provide production support troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps QA and Product teams
Follow Agile methodologies for sprint planning development and delivery

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
Expertise in Microservices Architecture
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
Solid experience with MongoDB
Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud platform
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
Knowledge of Apollo GraphQL
Proven experience in production support and issue resolution

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Maven for build management
Experience with JUnit for unit testing
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field
8 years of experience in Java development
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
