Job Summary

St. Mary of the Knobs School in Floyds Knobs is hiring a Childcare Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsible for the operation and leadership at St. Mary of the Knobs Childcare Ministry. Trains and supervises staff manages activities and works to build a rapport with parents in order to ensure a safe developmentally appropriate environment for the children.

Primary responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day scheduling and activities for childcare
Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities
Monitor students and employees
Train encourage and mentor employees
Administer record keeping
Ensure that the childcare ministry is in compliance with state requirements
Maintain rapport with parents
Work actively with employees and students to maintain high standards
Hire and train employees
Meet with school principal and parents as needed
Create instructional resources as needed
