Job responsibilities
- Advises and leads on the strategy and development of multiple products applications and technologies across a portfolio
- Creates novel code solutions and drives the development of new production code capabilities across teams and functions
- Translates highly complex technical issues trends and approaches to leadership to drive the firms innovation and enable leaders to make strategic well-informed decisions about technology advancements
- Drives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
- Creates durable reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions
- Influences across business product and technology teams and successfully manages senior stakeholder relationships
- Champions the firms culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years applied experience
- Practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Demonstrated prior experience with influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scale
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems across various technical disciplines
- Extensive practical cloud native experience
- Expertise in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
- Deep expertise in building and operating large scale high performance business critical applications (full stack) with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS GCP Azure etc.)
- Deep expertise with enterprise design patterns and industry best practices with experience using modern technologies and design patterns (e.g. micro services APIs Agentic etc.)
- Deep expertise with Agentic AI
- Experience with mentoring technology teams and next level leaders within the organization
- Ability to work in a dynamic agile environment working with geographically distributed teams
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience with financial payments and/or digital banking systems
- Preferred experience with specific cloud providers (e.g. AWS GCP Azure) beyond the required expertise
- Experience with AI/ML LLM Agentic AI and Generative AI is required
- Advanced certifications or degrees in relevant fields that could enhance the candidates ability to perform the role
- Experience with implementing industry standard cybersecurity & technology controls
Strength in executive presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across product technology data and design
- Strong organizational and management skills
