We are seeking an experiencedSustainability Analystbased in Southeast Asia to support global sustainability accountingpackaging compliance and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations. This role requires strong analytical capability deep organizational skills confident communication with suppliers andhandsonexperiencemanaging sustainability data across geographies.
The ideal candidate is experienced in global EPR sustainability operations and carbon accounting and ready to support evolving reporting data and accounting needs including preparation for mechanisms like the EUs emerging Digital Product Passport (DPP).
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Compliance
Lead data collection validation and calculations for EPR programs across SEA and global markets.
Manage EPR registrations submissions renewals and ensuretimelycompliance across multiplejurisdictions.
Interpret global EPR requirements translate them into data needs and workcrossfunctionallyto ensure readiness.
2. Sustainability Operations & Accounting
Track andmaintainsustainability metrics including packaging footprintsemissionsrelateddata recycled content and material throughput.
Support sustainability accounting related to packaging fees EPR obligations carbon reporting inputs and materials flow.
Maintain clear documentation methodological notes andauditreadydata trails.
3. Data Systems Dashboards & Reporting
Developmaintain andoptimizePower BI dashboardsfor EPR packaging and sustainability KPIs.
Build automated and standardized reporting workflows to improve visibility for leadership andcrossfunctionalpartners.
Ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency across systems and regions.
4. Packaging Data & Materials Expertise
Review andvalidatepackaging specifications BOMs material types and weights.
Support teams in understanding packaging material sustainability (e.g. recyclability composition additivesmultimaterialstructures).
Partner with Packaging Engineering and suppliers to improve packaging data quality and alignment with sustainability targets.
5. Supplier Engagement & Capability Building
Work directly with SEA suppliers to collecthighqualitysustainability data packaging specs and compliance documentation.
Provide training and ongoing guidance to suppliers on EPR packaging requirements and sustainability data expectations.
Build strong working relationships to support continuous improvement in data quality and traceability.
6. Regulatory Readiness (Including Digital Product Passport)
Monitor global regulatory trends especially packaging waste rules EPR expansions and digital traceability requirements.Partner closely with internal Product Safety & Compliance and Legal Compliance teams.
Supportcrossfunctionalefforts to prepareproductlevelandsupplychaindata for future regulations such as the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP).
Translate regulatory implications into data requirements and supplier expectations early in the development cycle.
Liaise with internal sales teams to manage retailer requirements and questionnaires accordingly.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Over 5years of experience in sustainability compliance packaging orsupplychaindata roles
Strong understanding of global EPR frameworks and sustainability reporting or accounting.
Working knowledge of packaging materials construction and recyclability concepts.
Demonstrated experience in Power BI dashboard creation and data visualization.
Highproficiencyin English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across regions.
Preferred Experience
Previousexperience gathering sustainability data from international suppliers especially in SEA.
Familiarity with emerging global packaging and product traceability regulations
Experience coordinating with product engineering sourcinglegaland compliance teams.
