Inventorymanagement involves identifying inventory requirements setting targets providing replenishment technique& reconcilingtheinventorybalances& reporting the inventory status. Storealsosupport businessbyplanning& implementing local transportation for incoming storesmaterial JobChallenges: Timely preparationofmaterial GRINfor available for consumption accountingprocess& toupdatestockposition. Timely material issue activity support for accurate stock information to purchase production & engineeringdepartment. Physicalverificationofstoreitemistocrosscheckthedifferenceifany againstbookbalance. Timelyclosingofmonthlystoreactivitiestoestablishvariousaccounting control in the process. Providing day to dayMIS of rawmaterial for planning purpose. Returnablematerial s record is tomonitor the status of material. Major challenges are to: Providetimelyinformationasrequiredbybusinessaboutmaterial. Plan&implement local transp ortationactivitywith in time frame. Develop inter-personal relationshipacross theplant. To cleartheGRINapprovalactivitywithintimeframe.
