The role:
As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Android applications and UI development you will design and deliver highquality userfacing experiences in modern Android apps. You will own complex UI features endtoend make independent technical decisions and collaborate closely with design product and QA to ship polished releases. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role focused on technical ownership.

What you will do:
Own the design and implementation of complex Android UI features and user journeys.
Build responsive accessible and maintainable UI using modern Android patterns and frameworks.
Partner with designers and product managers to translate requirements into intuitive experiences.
Establish UI architecture foundations (e.g. modularization MVVM/MVI) and promote consistency across the app.
Improve app performance stability andrenderingefficiency across a range of devices.
Write andmaintaintests (unit/UI/integration) and contribute to CI/CD quality gates.
Mentor engineers through design discussions code reviews and bestpractice guidance.
Contribute to nonUI application layers as needed including data flow state management and app level architecture.
What you bring:
Required
Strong professional Android development experience with Kotlin (or Java) and the modern Android SDK.
Proven experience building userfacing features and UI for production Android applications.
Solid understanding of Android UI frameworks (e.g. Jetpack Compose and/or Views) state management and navigation.
Experience with app architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM/MVI) modular codebases and dependency management.
Strong debugging and performanceprofiling skills (UIjank rendering memory startup).
Ability to work independently make technical tradeoffs and communicate clearly with crossfunctional partners.
Nice to have
Experience with design systems theming and building reusable UI components.
Experience with accessibility and internationalization/localization best practices.
Experience with analytics/telemetry to evaluate user experience and performance.
Experience leading UI refactors or migrations (e.g. legacy Views to Compose).
