Scientific Medical Representative

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a scientifically credible and commercially aware professional to join the Research function as a Scientific / Medical Representative (Clinical Partnership Manager).

This role operates at the intersection of clinical science research collaboration and stakeholder relationship management. You will be responsible for supporting clinical adoption strengthening partnerships with healthcare professionals and enabling research and market development activities across assigned regions.

You will act as a field-based scientific liaison building trust with clinicians researchers and healthcare decision-makers while ensuring effective use and understanding of advanced neuromodulation technologies.

Core Mission of the Role

• Drive clinical understanding and appropriate adoption of advanced medical technology
  
• Build strong long-term relationships with clinical and research stakeholders
  
• Support the execution of clinical and research initiatives in the field
  
• Serve as the primary scientific and clinical point of contact for key partners
  

1. Clinical & Scientific Partner Engagement

• Act as a trusted scientific point of contact for clinicians researchers and institutional partners
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and VIP stakeholders
  
• Support clinical partners in the appropriate use and understanding of the product/technology
  

2. Clinical Adoption & Education

• Support onboarding training and education of clinical users
  
• Conduct on-site visits and remote engagement sessions as needed
  
• Ensure consistent accurate communication of scientific and clinical information
  
• Help drive appropriate adoption within clinical environments
  

3. Research & Clinical Support

• Assist with clinical study coordination and site-level engagement
  
• Support data collection activities and research workflows where applicable
  
• Collaborate with internal teams on study execution and research alignment
  
• Contribute to maintaining strong research partnerships
  

4. Scientific Communication & Materials

• Prepare and deliver high-quality scientific presentations for clinical audiences
  
• Support development of educational and training materials
  
• Translate complex scientific concepts into clear practical clinical messaging
  

5. Field Insights & Market Feedback

• Collect structured feedback from clinicians and research partners
  
• Identify patterns needs and opportunities from the field
  
• Communicate insights to internal teams (product commercial medical affairs)
  
• Support continuous improvement of clinical and commercial strategy
  

6. External Representation

• Represent the organization at conferences clinical events and industry forums
  
• Engage professionally with healthcare and research communities
  
• Support visibility and credibility within the clinical ecosystem
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree (MSc) or equivalent in a relevant field such as:
  • Biomedical Sciences
    
  • Neuroscience
    
  • Medicine
    
  • Biotechnology
    
  • Related life sciences discipline
    
• Experience in academic research or clinical research environments
  
• Exposure to commercial or industry settings (e.g. medtech biotech digital health) is highly preferred
  
• Excellent written and spoken English (professional / near-native level)
  
• Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills
  
• Ability to engage confidently with clinicians researchers and institutional stakeholders
  
• Based in Europe and eligible to work as:
  • Independent contractor freelancer or registered entity

• Experience in medical devices digital health or regulated healthcare products
  
• Prior roles such as:
  • Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
    
  • Clinical Specialist
    
  • Application Specialist
    
  • Field-based clinical support or medical sales
    
• Understanding of clinical research processes and study design
  
• Strong professional presence with the ability to operate in both clinical and commercial environments
