Job Summary
As a Staff Network Integration Engineer you will serve as the principal technical authority for the integration of OEM networking hardware into a core software platform. This is a high-level individual contributor role focused on bridge-building between software and hardware to ensure seamless connectivity with external networking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Define technical blueprints for connecting the platform to Wi-Fi controllers RADIUS servers and cloud APIs.
- Coding & Automation: Write production-quality integration code and automation tools using Python or Bash.
- Lab Validation: Build and manage lab environments to test new integrations against rigorous pass/fail criteria.
- Troubleshooting: Lead deep-dive investigations into complex failures using packet captures RADIUS logs and telemetry data.
- Vendor Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external hardware partners regarding API changes and joint testing.
- Documentation: Develop precise architecture guides API references and standards for engineering and support teams.

Technical Requirements
- Networking Expertise: Deep knowledge of networking technologies and OEM implementations (e.g. Cisco Meraki Aruba MikroTik Ruckus).
- Protocols: Strong proficiency with RADIUS 802.1X and cloud-native networking infrastructure.
- Automation: Experience in network automation and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Industry Context: Experience with multi-dwelling units (MDU) or hospitality networking environments is highly preferred.
- Communication: Ability to lead technical negotiations with vendors and simplify complex concepts for internal stakeholders.
