Job Summary
Sierra Leone Mining Operation
We are recruiting for a Senior Superintendent Process Plant to join a large-scale mining operation in Sierra Leone.
This is a senior leadership role focused on driving plant performance developing teams and ensuring world-class maintenance and engineering standards across a complex processing environment.
What youll lead:
Direct train and develop expat and national teams to deliver to OEM and best industry standards
Drive plant reliability uptime and maintenance compliance
Lead maintenance planning and execution across critical plant equipment
Support Engineering Manager with technical production and process decisions
Run continuous improvement programmes across the operation
Solve complex engineering challenges in a high-performance environment
Drive KPIs incident management and reporting standards
Leadership impact:
Build and lead a high-performing safety-focused team
Drive accountability performance and operational excellence
Develop strong local capability through training and coaching
Continuously improve systems processes and plant output
Your environment:
Heavy process plant including:
Crushers SAG mills conveyors pumps
Materials handling and plant installations
Multi-cultural international workforce
Fast-paced performance-driven mining operation
What were looking for:
Mechanical Engineering degree
15 years experience in process plant / mining / extractives
Strong expertise in fixed plant maintenance and reliability
Proven leadership experience (10 years preferred)
Solid understanding of OEM standards and engineering best practices
Strong financial technical and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in remote or international environments
