Job Summary
A vacancy has arisen for a Chf Tech (Engineering TG1 (Any)) - to serve asCT Regional IQA Lead (CT OR) at RAF Cosford on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 14 September 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).
Job Description
CT OR is responsible to FS Outreach (FS OR) for the direct support of the TG1 and TG13 Apprenticeship Level 3 C&G Diplomas at the MOBs.
CT OR is responsible for development maintenance and upkeep of the digital portfolio system (OneFile) utilised for the evidencing of the apprenticeship and mandated qualifications.
CT OR is responsible for the management control and maintenance of the quality standards required for the support of Aircraft Engineering Apprentices.
They will be required to maintain orders processes training standardisation assurance and continuing professional development (CPD) activities are in place to maintain AEAFs compliance with Apprenticeship requirements.
CT OR will be required to provide qualification IQA Support to Regions/MOBs and assisting Regional Mgrs.
Assisting FS OR with the maintenance of orders policies and processes across MOBs.
Create and maintain AEA orders policy and processes regarding the use of digital portfolio system (OneFile).
Digital Portfolio Management developing and maintaining the digital portfolio system (OneFile) used to evidence City & Guilds Diplomas and Apprenticeships at RAF Cosford across Main Operating Bases (MOBs).
Assessor Training and Support ensuring Assessors and AEA workforce are trained and supported in the use of the digital portfolio system (OneFile).
Stakeholder Liaison coordinating with FS AEAF FS OR Regional Mgrs and Career Managers to keep the Apprentice Assignment Go/No-Go matrix current and accessible to all relevant parties.
Regional Standardisation attending Regional Standardisation meetings as directed by FS OR.
Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) performing AEAF qualification IQA duties including portfolio checks and managing a Sampling Plan for all AEAF Assessors.
End Point Assessment Quality liaising with APC and MIAA staff to ensure End Point Assessment criteria and submissions meet required standards on the digital portfolio system (OneFile).
SharePoint Management maintaining and updating the TG1 & TG13 Apprenticeships SharePoint page on the RAF Cosford Communications Portal with the latest information and contacts.
Carry out SJAR Reporting duties as required.
