Job Posting Summary:

The Digital Content Manager assists with developing implementing and overseeing an integrated digital marketing and communications strategy that supports and advances the schools mission and vision. This position is responsible for the development and oversight of the schools online presence through managing the schools website partner marketing accounts and other digital communication tools. The Digital Content Manager collaborates with other members of the communications team and school leadership to maintain brand consistency and promote the School. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Abides by Ensworths Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct
  • Commits to the ideals expressed in Ensworths Mission Statement Vision Statement and Diversity Equity and Inclusion Statement
  • Adheres to the Essential Expectations of an Ensworth Faculty Staff or Administrator

Digital Communications

  • Maintain the Ensworth brand in all internal and external communications
  • Manages school social media accounts including Facebook Instagram X and LinkedIn posting content consistently on each platform while tracking metrics and monitoring online conversations
  • Generate content and write stories to promote student accomplishments academics arts and athletics for the website marketing materials bi-annual magazine and social media
  • Manage Ensworth profiles on partner sites such as Niche Great Schools Private School Review etc.
  • Take photos and videos of school activities and events for the website social media and other marketing materials
  • Oversee the schools photo-sharing account by editing uploading and organizing photos
  • Update digital screens across campus with relevant content and announcements
  • Assist Creative Services with projects as needed

Website Management

  • Update content for ensuring that the messaging photos and design are current and reflect the schools mission and vision
  • Regularly audit the website and obtain information from faculty and administration to ensure that website content including photography is fresh and engaging
  • Maintain the online master calendar managing content and style and coordinating dates with Events Manager Administration and Parent Association
  • Create digital forms and generate reports
  • Work with the Director of Auxiliary Programs to update Summer at Ensworth web pages
  • Manage SEO of website and track analytics
  • Create monthly analytics reports and make recommendations based on trends
  • Oversee and update Tigernet Resource Board information

Other

  • Provide staffing support for community events held during the day and some evenings as needed
  • Keep up with industry trends through professional development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in related field or relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience managing creating and maintaining digital content
  • Basic photography/videography skills required; advanced photography skills preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Experience with content management systems preferred
  • Understanding of SEO and web page development and design
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Joyful creative collaborative and efficient
  • Continued Education Programs (as required by Grade Level and/or position) Periodically participate in different training sessions identified by you the employee and/or Divisional Leadership/Supervisor with the goal of keeping our teachers and staff up to date with current teaching methods practices and any new knowledge in their respective field. Depending on the program such training may need to take place outside of normal working hours and/or in the summer months.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Regularly works in standard office or classroom conditions and climate occasionally works outdoors in varying weather conditions and climate
  • Regularly uses close and distance vision occasionally works at a computer screen for extended periods of time ability to observe students from various distances
  • Frequently required to move around the office. Occasionally works at a desk for extended periods of time frequently moves around campus
  • Ability to occasionally move items weighing up to 30/50 lbs. across the campus and around the interior of buildings
  • Sometimes works in a highly stressful environment effectively dealing with a wide variety of challenges deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions
  • Ability to periodically work flexible hours to support before and after-school or weekend events
  • Ensworth requires employees to be physically present on campus with limited exceptions that are at the sole discretion of the School. Under extraordinary circumstances some or all of the workforce may be required to move to a remote working environment. Additionally certain individuals may also be approved for limited remote work based on the nature of the job description specific circumstances and only with written prior approval by a direct supervisor.
