Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures screening protocols and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen employees visitors and/or deliveries for authorized entry inspect bags and personal items as directed and help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.
• Verify identification maintain access logs and screening records and communicate entry procedures directions and site expectations in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter monitor entrances and screening areas and observe for unusual activity or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
