Payroll Officer $95000 Super
This roles sit within a team of 6 reporting to the payroll manager sharing responsibilities across end-to-end payroll activities.
Location: Inner Suburbs CBD
Industry: Gold mining
40-hour week with flexible start and finish times
Office-based role (no work from home)
This role is responsible for creating and maintaining employee records within the payroll system including accurate leave tracking and working closely with the HR team to ensure all employee lifecycle transactionssuch as new hires transfers promotions and terminationsare processed professionally and in a timely manner. The position also supports the fortnightly payroll process ensuring all payments are completed within electronic transfer timeframes while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining employee records (including Income Protection and Workers Compensation) completing end-of-month reporting and responding to employee payroll queries as required.
Key requirements for the role include:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and employee records management ideally within a high-volume environment
- Strong systems capability with SAP SuccessFactors experience highly regarded and advanced Excel skills essential
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- High attention to detail strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
