Senior Payroll Officer - $115000 Super

Location: CBD Inner Suburbs
Industry: Gold mining
40-hour week with flexible start and finish times
Office-based role (no work from home)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our clients team playing a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services within a fast-paced environment.

In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function ensuring all employee records are accurately maintained within the payroll system including leave management. You will work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure all employee lifecycle transactionssuch as new hires transfers promotions and terminationsare processed efficiently and in line with company policies and legislative requirements.

You will take a lead role in the fortnightly payroll process ensuring all payments are processed within electronic transfer timeframes while maintaining strict confidentiality. The role also involves maintaining employee records including Income Protection and Workers Compensation completing end-of-month reporting and acting as a key point of contact for complex payroll queries and escalations.

Key requirements for the role include:

• Demonstrated experience in a senior payroll position with strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and relevant legislation
• Advanced systems capability with SAP SuccessFactors experience highly regarded and strong Excel skills essential
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the business
• High attention to detail strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
