Position Overview You will provide urgent care services to veterans in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will evaluate diagnose treat and coordinate care for a wide range of acute conditions.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients in urgent care setting
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Document all care in electronic medical record (EMR)
Stabilize and transfer patients when higher level care is required
Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care
Collaborate with VA clinical staff
Requirements
Active unrestricted MD or DO license (any state)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in urgent care environment
