Job Summary
Title Warehouse Picker / Warehouse Packer
Location: Pasadena TX
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $17/hr 19/hr on W2(Inclusive all)
Shift: 2nd Shift schedule required 10:00 am to 06:45 pm
Job Description
Position Overview The Warehouse Packer is responsible for accurately preparing packing and labeling customer orders to ensure safe and efficient shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations by following quality standards meeting productivity goals and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare orders according to company standards and customer requirements
- Inspect items for damage accuracy and quality before packing
- Use packing materials to secure products and prevent damage during transit
- Label packages correctly and ensure all documentation is complete
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks scanners carts)
- Operate forklift equipment previous experience is required
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and report any issues or hazards
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or packing experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic reading writing and math skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment
- Frequent lifting bending and moving of materials
- Use of safety equipment as required
