Sr. Project Manager, GSA

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager Global Strategic Accounts will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all Vertiv field resources (mechanical electrical LVOand3^rdparty labor) throughout the constructionstartupand commissioning lifecycle ofVertivprojects. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project is turned over to the customer on time and within budget. This position requiresexpertisein data centerconstruction andresource managementmust haveexcellent communication and relationship buildingskills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee thermal AC power liquidcoolingand third-party labor field activities (install startupcommissioningand break fix) throughout the course of project.
• Ensure field teams understandscopeof work andjobschedules. Make every effort to meet them.
• Reviewmanpowerrequirements to ensure we have enough resources to completeproject and escalate internally when resource capacitydoesntalign with job schedule.
• Coordinate work with other trades.
• Ensurefield teams and subcontractorsfollowOSHAsitesafetyand Vertiv safety policy.
• Work withprojectmanagerin reviewingproject completion status.
• Facilitate regular coordination meetings with internal and job site stakeholders.
• Create presentations and reports forinternalstakeholders as needed.
• Monitor field variations and keepprojectmanager informed ofanychanges.
• Adherenceto project scope of work and ensure we are meeting our contractual obligations whileidentifyingoutside ofscopework.
• Perform other duties asassigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of5years of experience managing MEP scopesand personnelon large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadershipcommunicationandproblem-solvingskills
• Proven abilitytoindirectlymanage up to 50 field resources at a time.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managingcommissioningissue resolution software.

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 8-12years related field MEP experience

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in a business related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience)
• Prior experience on data center construction projects is strongly preferred
• OSH30 certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Light Lifting (5-25Ibs.)
• Frequent Standing

TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED

• Onsite 5 days a week
