As a Security Officer - Tactical Coverage for Warehousein Santa Fe Springs CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials control site access and support daily operations through a visible presence and strong this access control role you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers vendors and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or shipping documentation and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas docks gates and other designated locations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns unusual activity and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor vehicle trailer and/or delivery records including logs of arrivals departures and access activity while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter including access points parking areas loading zones and exterior grounds as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
