OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner Opportunity- PRN
Vassar Brothers Medical Center part of Northwell/Nuvance Healthlocatedjust 75 minutes north of New York City is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our successful and growing OB/GYN group for per diem work.We are a collaborative OB-GYN team providing care to a diverse patient population that draws from multiple counties in the Hudson Valley.If you are excited by the opportunity to help grow and shape a practice this is the job for you!
The ideal candidate will be a team player have excellent communication skills easilyestablishrapport and trust with patients and families is committed to evidence-based care and practices andvaluesworking with a diverse patient population. We are seeking a candidate that is reliable and adaptable and hasa high levelof clinical competence compassion and empathy commitment to patient education cultural sensitivity excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills and passion for lifelong learning and professional development.
We have practice offices located in Poughkeepsie Fishkill and Highland and work alongside 7 board certified physicians.
Job Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum formal education or masters degree NP State of NY RN and APRN license NY Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a new 752000 square-foot eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Vassar hasestablishedcenters of excellence in cardiac services neurosciences cancer care and womens health. Vassar is consistently ranked as one of the strongest cardiac programs in the United States and one of the Top 100 Heart Hospitals by Modern HealthCare Magazine.
