Itslearning is growing our customer base within the European education market and looking for the right candidate who love to work internationally and locally to further developing our markets. You will be part of a global sales team working in close collaboration across Europe.
About the position
You will drive the new business growth agenda by identifying market opportunities developing and executing sales strategies and securing new customers in target markets. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key decision-makers managing the new business pipeline and ensuring revenue targets are achieved through consultative selling.
Main responsibilities
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities within responsible target markets
- Define and implement new business sales and marketing strategies for responsible target markets in collaboration with Marketing & Communication
Opportunity Identification & Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business prospects
- Ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reporting in CRM systems
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in schools educational institutions & municipalities /local authorities
- Book and conduct meetings with potential customers
- Deliver professional presentations and product demonstrations (face-to-face and online)
Tender submission
- Produce and submit tender proposals in close collaboration with tender team
Revenue & Performance Accountability
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Monitor KPIs and provide accurate forecasts to Head of New Business
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing & Communication to generate leads and campaigns
- Share market insights with Product and Customer Success to align offerings with customer needs
Formal Requirements
- Academic degree in relevant area
- 5 years of experience selling and closing deals preferably in the EdTech market
- Experience in writing and winning public tenders preferably in the EdTech market
- Proven experience in consultative selling of complex solutions
- Professionally proficient in English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian/Swedish/Danish)
- Ability to travel
