About the Role
Were Matillion the company behind Maia. Maia is the first AI Data Automation platform that rethinks manual data work by autonomously creating managing and evolving data products for humans and AI agents at scale. Our engineering teams are small focused and own what they build end-to-end. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer youll be at the heart of keeping our cloud platforms running reliably efficiently and at scale. This isnt a monitoring role. This is hands-on high-impact engineering that directly shapes how millions of data jobs run every day.

This role sits at the heart of our Hyderabad office a thriving collaborative space where world-class talent comes together to solve real problems at scale.
What you will be doing
What we are looking for
- Kubernetes Power User: Extensive experience managing production-grade K8s environments including ingress service mesh and container security.
- Cloud Infrastructure Expert: A deep understanding of cloud networking storage and compute services within a major provider (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Proactive Mindset: An engineer who doesnt wait for a ticket; you naturally seek out system weaknesses and build solutions to strengthen them. You bring people along on the journey
- AI Curiosity: An active interest in the AI landscape and a desire to leverage LLMs or machine learning to improve SRE workflows.
- Programming Literacy: Experience with at least one language (such as Java Python Go or Ruby) to bridge the gap between software engineering and operations.
