PORTFOLIO MANAGER (FMD)

We are currently looking for an Portfolio Manager to join our team at Ignitis Polska. In this role you will support the smooth daily operation of our office and contribute to creating a positive and wellorganized work environment. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:  

• Managing retail/generation portfolio hedge
• Mandating and executing of market operations
• Monitoring and evaluating conditions of  the market capturing profitable opportunities
• Participating in creation of portfolio management strategies
• Keeping a trade registry
• Monitoring of current strategy efficiency

Qualifications :

• University degree or equivalent (economy engineering mathematics)
• At least 2 years of work experience in banking trading (gas and/or power) brokerage or financial/technical sales
• Knowledge of the legislation governing the energy market
• Familiarity with information platforms Montel Eikon Bloomberg
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office/VBA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Polish and English languages
• Understanding of weather influence on power markets
• Knowledge and understanding of  European energy markets: Nasdaq OMX EEX ICE PolPX
• Practical knowledge of risk management processes
