We are currently seeking a Production Technician (Casual) to join our team!

Location: 2400 Skymark Avenue Unit 4 Mississauga ON L4W 5K5

The pay rate for this role is $21 per hour.

Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills experience qualifications and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidates background and demonstrated capabilities.

This position is an existing vacancy within the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have the ability to work all shifts (i.e. morning and evening shifts weekends and statutory holidays) with an excellent attendance record.
• Participates in and assist with continuous improvement projects and processes.
• Operates and maintains manufacturing equipment safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Utilizes proper pharmacy practices to pick visually inspect label and package IV admixtures as per production documents.
• Prepares and decontaminates all production components against production documents.
• Ensures enough supplies are available to meet production demands.
• Ensures all in-process verifications are met to drive compliance and high-quality standards.
• Responsible for maintaining organization and proper line clearance during all activities throughout the process.
• Ensures that proper handling of waste materials is disposed of as per SOP.
• Participates in inventory counts process validations and calibration when applicable.
• Assists with the training of new employees.
• Assists in sterile cleanroom related activities when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in science or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
