Role Overview
The Senior National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for leading the Sephora Canada business for Wella Companys Briogeo brand and Wella Ultimate Care franchise with full accountability for sales performance retailer experience marketing execution and cross-functional alignment.
This role is the single point of ownership for the Sephora Canada relationship ensuring best-in-class execution across merchandising marketing supply chain and in-store and digital parallel the role will lead professional channel expansion for Briogeo in Canada working closely with distributors new retail channels and internal stakeholders to build sustainable growth beyond Sephora.
Key Responsibilities
Sephora Canada National Account Leadership
Own the end-to-end Sephora Canada relationship for Briogeo and Wella Ultimate Care acting as the primary commercial and strategic contact.
Lead annual joint business planning forecasting and performance tracking across stores and e-commerce.
Drive sales growth productivity and profitability in line with agreed targets.
Manage all Sephora commercial levers including assortment promotions launches and marketing investments.
Represent Wella Company at key Sephora forums including brand summits market and strategy meetings.
Retailer Experience & Execution Excellence
Champion a best-in-class Sephora retailer experience across in-store merchandising education events animations and digital shelf execution.
Partner closely with Sephora merchandising planning marketing education and event teams to drive brand exposure and ensure flawless execution.
Translate Sephora expectations into clear internal direction across marketing sales operations and supply chain.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Advocate internally for your accounts & act as the connector across internal teams including brand marketing trade marketing demand planning logistics and finance.
Partner with brand and trade marketing to drive localized support for Sephora across paid media influencer PR and events.
Collaborate with Field Sales and Education teams to drive in-store sell-through and successful events.
Align with internal Sephora US NAM on shared NA strategies launches and campaigns to ensure consistency.
Ensure launch readiness inventory health and on-time delivery aligned with Sephora requirements.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities and drive solutions with accountability and speed.
Professional Channel Expansion Briogeo
Lead the strategic expansion of Briogeo in the Canadian professional channel.
Manage distributor relationships including commercial negotiations distribution expansion and education planning.
Partner with education and marketing teams to build credible professional relevance while protecting brand integrity.
Business Analytics & Performance Management
Own forecasting reporting and KPI tracking for Sephora and professional accounts.
Analyze sales inventory and promotional performance to drive insights and recommendations.
Deliver clear data-driven insights to leadership.
Manage Gross-to-Net budgets and deductions to ensure accurate forecasting healthy margins and optimized spend.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
4 years of experience in national or key account management within beauty CPG or prestige retail.
Direct experience managing Sephora Canada and/or U.S. strongly preferred.
Experience with the professional beauty channel and distributor management is a strong asset.
Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional analytical skills with a talent for translating data insights into actionable strategies.
Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced matrixed organization.
