Sales Executive Meetings, Events & Groups

About the Role

This is a reactive sales role focused on handling inbound enquiries for meetings events and group accommodation preparing proposals and coordinating booking details prior to execution.

You will play a key role in driving revenue by ensuring timely responses strong conversion of enquiries and accurate coordination of event and group requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming enquiries for meetings conferences events and group bookings.
• Prepare tailored proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through timely follow-up.
• Prepare contracts event orders and detailed booking documentation.
• Prepare and issue Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) ensuring all event details are accurate and communicated to operational teams.
• Coordinate group accommodation blocks alongside event requirements.
• Conduct site inspections with prospective clients.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate planning and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records in booking and CRM systems.
• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling.

Qualifications :

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years experience in meetings & events group coordination or hotel-based sales support.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience preparing proposals contracts and event documentation.
• Solid understanding of event coordination and service delivery.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Event Management or Business (Level 7 or above preferred).
