PT School of IT Supplemental Instructor (SI)

Major Responsibilities:

• Participate in SI Leader Training
• Support andparticipatein campus and student life events for students
• Attend all class sessions and serve as a model student
• Conduct group study sessions
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate content and learning skills
• Collect data for program evaluation

Compensation: $15.00/hour

Schedule: days and times vary based on course schedule and candidate availability. Up to 28 hours per week

Education Experience And Other Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Some college coursework required
• Must be making or have achieved Satisfactory Academic Progress; Must have a grade of A or B in the targeted class
• Must have a desire and ability to perform work in the employment position assigned
• Must be able to maintain the confidentiality and private nature of information and coursework materials
• Position requires sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability and ethnic backgrounds of the Colleges students and employees
• Fully supports the Colleges mission and strategic plan initiatives
• Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks including criminal history check and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome
