Job Summary
- Manage geotechnical forensic and construction projects
- Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
- Coordinate and participate in field activities including:
- Logging borings test pits trenches and cores
- Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards
- Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
- Perform engineering analyses including:
- Foundation design and evaluation
- Slope stability analysis
- Settlement analysis
- Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
- Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers geologists and field technicians
Qualifications :
Education
- B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required
- M.S. in related field preferred
Required Skills & Experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in geotechnical consulting
- Familiarity with local engineering practices and Austin-area projects preferred
- Detail-oriented team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
