| Job Description: | The Adult Neuro-Oncologist will provide comprehensive clinical care for adult patients with primary brain tumors and other central nervous system malignancies within the Preston A. Wells Jr. Brain Tumor Center at the University of Florida. This position will focus primarily on clinical care including outpatient neuro-oncology clinics inpatient consultations and longitudinal management of patients undergoing neurosurgery radiation therapy systemic therapies and clinical trials. The faculty member will work closely with neurosurgery radiation oncology and medical oncology to support a multidisciplinary care model and ensure timely evaluation and treatment of complex neuro-oncology patients. In addition to clinical responsibilities the faculty member will contribute to the Centers academic mission through teaching and research. Responsibilities include mentoring trainees participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards and supporting clinical research initiatives and early-phase clinical trials. The position will play a critical role in expanding patient access enhancing continuity of care and increasing clinical trial enrollment as the Brain Tumor Center continues to grow as a nationally recognized program in neuro-oncology. |

| Preferred: | - Board certification in Neurology Medical Oncology or a related specialty.
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of adult patients with primary brain tumors and other CNS malignancies within an academic medical center
- Record of scholarly activity and experience with clinical trials.
- Strong leadership organizational and strategic planning skills with the ability to execute complex initiatives
- Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships across specialties and departments
- Commitment to advancing patient-centered team-based care models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Experience mentoring faculty trainees and research staff
- Strong focus on quality improvement data-driven decision-making and outcomes measurement
