Job Title: Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation)

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (MondayFriday)
Hours: 8 hours/day 40 hours/week
Schedule: MondayFriday 2 weekends (or 4 weekend days) during the contract occasional holidays
Role Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a rehabilitation-focused assignment. The role involves working with adult and pediatric patients to restore function improve mobility and prevent disability through individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and establish measurable treatment goals.
- Perform assessments and diagnostic tests to determine physical function and limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) aides and students as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols infection control and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy (required).
- Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with both adult and pediatric patient populations.
- Clinical specialization or certification (if applicable).
