Senior Paralegal

• Job Title - Senior Inhouse Paralegal 
• Job Type - Permanent 
• Location - Ellesmere Port 
• Hours - 35 per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm 
• Salary - starting from 32000 
• Industry - Legal Services 

As a member of the Legal Team youll assist in the provision of first line legal advice support and training to all internal businesses and functions offering a practical and informed interpretation of the laws affecting the Company in response to routine and non-routine matters. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in the review and negotiation of contracts
• Assist in property management 
• Assist in the management of litigation matters affecting the Company and co-ordinate improvements to systems and procedures needed as a result of successful claims
• Assist with acquisitions/disposals 
• Assist in the provision of Company Secretarial services to the Company and its UK affiliates
• Assist where required in employment law issues affecting the Company

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has has already gained experience working in commercial law either in-house or within private practice -  drafting/negotiating commercial contracts managing litigation and commercial property and have an understanding of IPRs and data protection.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

• Law Degree or professional legal qualification 
• Full driving license for use in the UK 
• Working knowledge of commercial law 
• Negotiating contracts
