About this role
Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Credit Sales Leader to head our EMEA Credit Sales team. This is a pivotal role in driving our ambitious growth plans and shaping the future of our credit business in the region. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on client coverage ensuring we deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients.
In this role you will:
Manage and develop an EMEA Credit Sales team of individual contributors
Develop a clear segmented client strategy covering investment grade high yield and index/derivative product.
Cover clients while also managing the team making this a hands-on leadership role
Engage and influence stakeholders internal partners and Sales/Trading peers associated with the business
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and development of service standards and goals
Direct team as needed to accomplish goals and resolve issues
Determine appropriate strategy and actions for the team to resolve challenges and deliver results
Operate within our policyprocedure and compliance framework
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the team
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications for Europe Middle East & Africa only:
Extensive experience in Credit Sales demonstrated through work experience
Proven management or leadership experience
Prior experience building technology and infrastructure to support a growing credit business is a distinct advantage
Experience partnering with a DCM on primary and secondary strategy
Desired Qualifications:
This position is deemed to be a Certified Person function under the FCA and PRA Certification Regime. You must at all times remain fit and proper to perform your role and this will be assessed on at least an annual basis
